Entries will be accepted from August 1, 2017, through December 15, 2017

More than one manuscript may be submitted by an author, but they should be sent separately, with separate entry fees. Entries will be accepted by mail or electronic copy.

Mail*:

      1. Read Contest Rules thoroughly.
      2. Please include two cover pages: one with title of manuscript, name, address, telephone number, and email address, and one with title of manuscript only.
      3. Print and fill out Entry Form.
      4. Include a $25 check or money order made out to the Write Place, or pay with PayPal link below.
      5. Fasten the pages with a removable clip.
      6. Send manuscript and fee to:

      7. All manuscripts will be recycled at the conclusion of the contest. Please do not send your only copy.

*Print manuscripts with no existing digital copy will be accepted; if such a manuscript is chosen as the winner, author may be asked to cover OCR scanning fees.  

Electronic:

      1. Read Contest Rules thoroughly.
      2. Fill out our online Entry Form.
      3. Make your payment of $25 using your credit card or PayPal account at our secure site. 
      4. Attach application and manuscript to an email and send to bookcontest@thewriteplace.biz. In your email, give your name and title of your manuscript. Attached manuscript should include two cover pages: one with title of manuscript, name, address, telephone number, and email address, and one with title of manuscript only.
