Help! Please name our moose 

It’s hard not to be in a good mood this time of year. In our offices, holiday music is streaming from Pandora (thumbs down to “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer”—far too depressing), and we are doing our best to avoid sampling every bakery goodie that shows up.

This season, rather than sending out the traditional card, we are opting to amuse and entertain you via email and social media. Starting next week, the Write Place will be invaded by a friendly wandering holiday moose. We’re calling it our Moose on the Loose event. (Yes, there is related phenomenon known as the Elf on Shelf. But since Hannah has a deep-seated fear of elves, that was out. OK, not really. We just didn’t get started early enough to do 25 days of elf shenanigans.) Our Moose on the Loose will get in trouble, make you laugh, and offer opportunities to win some free books or discounts on our services.

But we can’t have a mischievous moose without a name! So, before the fun starts next week, we want to offer our friends and clients the opportunity to name our little guy. Head to our Facebook page between 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, and 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, and look for the Moose on the Loose button under our cover image. We’ll choose our favorite name suggestion on Dec. 10 and post it on Facebook. The creator of the winning name gets 5 Write Place books or 10% off any Write Place service!
