Product Catalog – Yetter Farm Equipment

THE NEED

Yetter Farm Equipment releases an annual product catalog to promote their industry-leading planting attachments and precision fertilizer placement tools. These catalogs are mailed to customers and dealers, and they’re kept on hand for trade shows.

The catalog is filled with detailed product descriptions and full-color images. There is also space to announce new products, plus pages dedicated to the Yetter story and mission.

OUR APPROACH

The Write Place plays a critical role at every stage of the Yetter catalog project: planning, editing and writing, photo preparation, design and layout, proofreading, and printing coordination.

Each year, the Write Place collaborates with Yetter on a refreshed look and cover design. We also work in partnership with the Yetter marketing team to plan for new pages or rearrange sections as needed to accommodate product additions or removals. We work closely with Yetter to update text, including writing text for new products. Our designers consult on which photos will best highlight Yetter products, and they enhance or cut out product photos as needed.

When the entire catalog has been laid out, it’s proofread by the Write Place. With a project this size, we work through several rounds of revisions and track changes with multiple stakeholders at Yetter. After revisions, the Write Place sends press-ready files to the printer.
