Trade Show Signage + Videos – Yetter Farm Equipment

THE NEED

​For Yetter Farm Equipment—an Illinois-based manufacturer of planter and fertilizer attachments with a worldwide customer base—attending industry trade shows, farm shows, and conferences is a key component of their marketing and outreach strategy. Their booth setup contains a variety of pieces, including signage, backdrops, and videos. All these pieces need to work together to create an inviting, attractive space for attendees to learn about Yetter products.

OUR APPROACH

When Yetter needs a new addition to their trade show booth setup, the Write Place works closely with their in-house marketing team to understand the desired effect as well as where the piece will be placed in the setup. Before any design work begins, we review the specifications of the vendor who will be printing the final design to ensure the safe areas are honored, proper bleeds are in place, and the photos used meet at least the minimum resolution requirements.

Next, we complete copywriting. For trade show signage, we are careful to craft quick-to-read headlines that make an instant impact, since catching the attention of foot traffic is important. We want our signage for Yetter to have a long use life, so we use a consistent set of elements and accents in our designs. As the booth setup is chosen to align with the regional product mix and booth footprint, the Yetter team knows all their options will work together cohesively.

All press files are carefully proofread and viewed at 100% actual size to ensure quality before moving into production.

Large Yetter banners and product displays

In addition to backdrops and banners, Yetter typically has video footage running in their booth. The Write Place video editor produces these videos using footage from Yetter. Trimming footage to the most impactful seconds, overlaying and choosing animations for product information, and adjusting playback speed are all part of creating short but engaging experiences for the farmers visiting the Yetter booth. Yearly updates to the videos are the norm.

The Write Place burns the final cuts onto DVDs for Yetter to play on monitors with built-in players. Our video editor also designs the DVD menu to allow the salesmen to loop the videos of specific product families or play a loop of all the videos. This makes it possible for them to show exactly what they want on each monitor.

THE REACTION
