The Write Place is pleased to welcome Michelle Smith as its new bookkeeper. Smith joined the team at the end of July. She has a strong background in payroll and human resources along with an associate degree in finance.
Smith will be working from the Write Place’s Lakeville, Minnesota, office with Manager Lexie Thomas. Clients who receive invoices electronically will receive them from michelle.smith@thewriteplace.biz starting in September. Smith can be reached by phone at 952.388.1308.
“Michelle is enthusiastic about her new role and has been tackling every new task with tenacity,” said Thomas.
“I am excited about getting back into the workforce,” said Smith. “I enjoy working with finances. When numbers fall into place, it’s very rewarding for me.”
For the past nine years, Smith has enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom to two sons, Justin (12) and Mitchell (10). She and her husband Steve enjoy working with their kids’ Cub and Boy Scout groups.
